Pre-Summit Sessions Tuesday

Community leaders and advocates from across the country participated in interactive training sessions. Others experienced the sights and sounds of Detroit through a number of mobile workshops. And caucuses presented opportunities to meet, connect, exchange ideas, expand networks, and strategize for collective action.

After a day of sessions, the time had arrived to experience the Taste of Detroit. The evening featured favorite local treats and cuisine reflecting a variety of neighborhoods. Entertainment for the event was provided by Larry Lee and Back In The Day band.
